Passages

installation // Clichy (92110)

In Clichy, a construction hoarding became an artwork for two years. Commissioned by SEMERCLI, “Passages” accompanied the handover of a new building and anticipated the extension of rue Curton by opening a temporary path through the block.

Along the ribbon of the hoarding, viewing devices explore ways of “seeing through”: lenses, mirrors, coloured acrylic half-spheres or simple openings frame the building site beyond. The time of construction becomes a temporary landscape.
