Between the Bricks
landscape sculpture // Parc Badin, Barentin (76360), Normandy
In the Parc Badin in Barentin, in the Austreberthe valley, the artist Gilles Brusset designed “Entre les briques”: two giant bricks set down at the scale of the valley’s geography.
Massive and compact, luminous and transparent, the landscape sculpture forms a third monument alongside the chimney and the former industrial buildings it completes. Strips of mirror-polished stainless steel sheet, inserted between the courses of bonded brickwork, reflect the sky, the chimney and the park, and offer new images of them.
UOTNI carried out the technical design and fabrication, delivered in early 2026.
