The ball jumps through the air, a player leaps after it, goal posts appear, vanish and reappear farther away. All part of a series of spontaneous actions. We stand looking at the match. As we do, the city starts sliding out of its ordinary framework, opens up and lets in the unexpected. And inside yourself, you start to breathe differently. Openness and the newness of life filters in. The free space is also inside us.
